Yuxi Pagoda
Yuxi Pagoda is situated by the small river under Beigang Bridge in Yutian Town. Constructed in the Jiayin year of the Ming Jiajing era (1554), it was built by local villagers to suppress a dragon and pray for rain. The pagoda body is built with flat-laid blue bricks and sealed with a mortar mixture of glutinous rice flour and lime. It has seven stories and eight sides, with upturned eaves and corners. Each side features eight alternating open and closed windows, symmetrically arranged, with cloud-scroll patterns above the windows. The pagoda stands 24.55 meters tall and has a base diameter of 5 meters. It is a county-level key cultural relic protection unit.
