Gongdang Sacred Mountain
Gongdang Sacred Mountain is located to the south of Bingzhongluo and is one of the ten sacred mountains in the area. Its name means “white lion” due to its shape resembling that of a lion. The mountain is entirely composed of milky-white nephrite marble, hence its name. Visitors can take a car up the mountain to enjoy the views, where they will find blooming alpine flowers and breathtaking scenery. From the summit, you can see Twin Elephant Peak, Fairy Maiden Peak, and Immortal’s Cave. Climbing to a high vantage point also offers an unobstructed panoramic view of the Bingzhongluo valley and the majestic First Bend of the Nu River.
