Dachaoyi Post Station
Dachaoyi Post Station is a key project in Sichuan Province’s post-disaster tourism reconstruction. It is situated in Dachaoyi Township, Yuanba District, Guangyuan City, 18 kilometers from the Zhaohua Ancient Town scenic area and 17 kilometers from the Jianmen Pass scenic area. As a vital section of the ancient Shu Road, it serves as an important attraction connecting Jianmen Pass and Zhaohua Ancient Town to form the “One-Line” Jian-Zhao premium tourism route. It functions as a key public service facility within the Zhaohua Ancient Town scenic area (Dachaoyi section) and an important node on the Jian-Zhao premium tourism line. The station covers a construction area of 2,206 square meters and features a two-story, two-courtyard Ming-Qing style building with an additional wing courtyard in the back. It offers 21 guest rooms, a restaurant capable of accommodating 80–100 diners at once, a meeting room that can host up to 60 people, and a supporting parking lot with space for approximately 20 vehicles.
Today, the ancient post road has been preserved as a historical and cultural heritage site, and Dachaoyi Post Station has been restored by the local government. Integrating dining, accommodation, conferences, entertainment, and leisure wellness, it is set to become a charming highlight along the historic post road.
