Sanya Tianya Tropical Ocean Aquarium

　　The Tianya Tropical Ocean Aquarium is situated 300 meters west of the Tianya Haijiao Scenic Area in Sanya City, Hainan Province, and spans over 50 acres. Connected by stone paths through the woods, the park is nestled among coconut groves, white sands, and blue waters. With an initial investment of over 40 million yuan, it now includes eight sightseeing and entertainment attractions, such as a tropical ocean aquarium, a seabird park, a crocodile exhibit, and a tortoise pavilion.

　　The Tianya Tropical Ocean Aquarium offers dolphin and sea lion shows, crocodile performances, bird shows, and photo opportunities with long-lived sea turtles. Its tropical ocean aquarium displays over 400 species of tropical marine life, including leopard sharks, white-tip sharks, batfish, and live coral. The seabird pavilion, tortoise pavilion, and crocodile exhibit showcase several rare bird species from southern China, dozens of parrot species, various endangered sea turtles, and saltwater crocodiles imported from Thailand. It is the only large-scale comprehensive attraction in Hainan Province that develops marine biological resources.
