In recent years, under the leadership of the village’s rural tourism party group, the local residents have actively developed the rural folk tourism industry. They have built their homes according to the “six ones plus three supporting facilities” household project model, constructing biogas pits on a large scale, reclaiming fields and improving soil, afforesting barren hills, and making rational use of the complementary relationships among orchard development, livestock pen renovation, and biogas pit construction. Economic orchards provide feed for poultry and livestock, manure from pens goes into biogas pits to produce gas, and the biogas slurry and residue serve as fertilizer for pollution-free production, forming an ecological cycle. The village has vigorously built new brick-concrete small houses, beautified the living environment, installed closed-circuit television, connected to the internet, established gardens and pear orchards, set up multifunctional cultural activity rooms, and continuously improved the service level of farmhouse tourism. Every March, thousands of pear trees in the village bloom simultaneously, attracting over 30,000 tourists from surrounding counties and cities for leisure and sightseeing. The rural folk tourism industry has not only improved the ecological environment of Shiling Village but also promoted the development of eco-tourism, optimized the industrial structure, and brought about a qualitative change in the mode of economic growth.
