Cornwall Park is built around a volcanic cone, and its most famous feature is One Tree Hill, which has become a major attraction for visitors. The first impression upon entering the park is that of a vast green meadow—endless, lush fields dotted with herds of cattle and sheep freely roaming or running about, showing no fear or unfamiliarity toward passersby. Cornwall Park gives off the feeling of “where the grass is low, you see grazing cattle and sheep.” The beauty here is natural, pristine, and wild, untouched by the noise and clamor of the city. The trees in the park are over 150 years old and still stand tall and strong, serving as a paradise for more than 20 species of birds.
Cornwall Park features designated areas for picnicking and barbecuing, where families can sit on the green grass and enjoy a hearty outdoor meal. During the summer, large concerts are also held in the park.
