Jinggangshan Yicui Lake Park

Yicui Lake Park is situated in the heart of Ciping, encircled by the district's shaded avenues, providing a tranquil and picturesque setting that serves as a wonderful place for relaxation and enjoyment. The park covers an area of over 120 acres and features attractions such as Yicui Lake, tea houses, pavilions, and the Bonsai Fun Garden. At the northern end of the park stands the iconic "Gallop of the Horse Over a Flying Swallow" sculpture, a symbol of China’s Outstanding Tourism Cities. The park boasts more than 80 acres of water surface, and the renowned calligrapher Lu Yanshao inscribed the words “Yicui Reflections on the Water,” from which the lake gets its name. The island in the middle of the lake features rugged rocks and fragrant orchids in vibrant bloom. Leaning on the railing for a quiet rest, one can easily be reminded of the poetic scene described by Tang Dynasty poets: “Idle clouds drift over the pond, time drifting slowly by.”
