Jinggang Mountain Flower and Fruit Mountain

　　    Flower and Fruit Mountain is situated approximately one kilometer east of Ciping. It earned its name due to the abundance of blooming mountain flowers and the plentiful bayberries grown here. The Osmanthus Flat and Orchid Flat of Flower and Fruit Mountain are popular scenic spots. These two areas cover nearly 20,000 square meters. The Osmanthus Flat features hundreds of osmanthus trees growing densely together. The trunks of the osmanthus trees are so thick that one person can hardly encircle them with their arms, and their canopies provide shade over dozens of meters. Every July and August, the osmanthus blossoms cover the ground, filling the air with fragrance for miles around. The Orchid Flat is shaded by green trees and is home to the unique Jinggang Mountain orchid variety known as "Jinggang Spring Orchid." Surrounding the Osmanthus Flat is nearly 100 hectares of tea plantations, where Jiangxi’s premium-quality famous tea, “Jinggang Emerald Green,” is produced. In 1962, [Comrade] revisited Jinggang Mountain and enjoyed admiring the orchids and sipping the tea here.
