Xincheng Cui Ping Shan Park
Situated in Xincheng County, the park is covered with verdant forests that look like a natural screen, which gave it its name. It was turned into a park in 1984. Mountain trails were developed and pavilions built to offer visitors scenic views. The main peak of the mountain stands at an elevation of 289 meters and is composed of limestone, resembling a chair positioned behind the Tusi government office. With steep terrain, rugged rocks, towering ancient trees, and enchanting scenery, the mountain is also home to many rare flowers and trees such as Golden Plum, Erythrophleum fordii, Diamond Tree, and Palm-leaf Tree. During the Ming and Qing dynasties, it was listed as one of the famous mountains in Qingyuan Prefecture, Guangxi, and is said to be the "Dragon-Backing Hill" behind the Tusi government office. In recent years, it has been featured in landscape films and shown multiple times on the Guangxi TV program “Strolling Through Guangxi.”
