Lingyan is a massive rock hundreds of feet high and about a hundred zhang long. At the base of the rock are three side-by-side caves: Fuxi Cave, Wind Cave, and Lingyan Cave. Walking through these caves into the depths of Lingyan and looking up, you can see a sliver of daylight pouring down from the top of the rock, resembling a blue rainbow spanning the sky;
A fissure splits the massive rock in two, as if cleaved by a giant axe, so narrow it doesn’t even span a foot — a remarkable sight in the mountains;
