Located around Moon Cave in Huaping Township, Jianshi County, and dating back to the Pleistocene epoch of the Quaternary period. Fossils have been found in dozens of limestone caves centered around Moon Cave. Collected fossils include those of mammals such as saber-toothed elephants, elephants, tapirs, rhinoceroses, wild boars, and gigantopithecus. (First batch)
