Covering an area of 1.3 square kilometers with an average depth of 20 meters and a maximum depth of 40 meters, Lake Titisee is a tranquil and elegant body of water, making it an ideal destination for vacationers. Nestled among mountains and surrounded by lush flowers, trees, and greenery, this serene lake shines like a brilliant jewel amidst the peaks, attracting visitors from near and far. Nature lovers will find it a perfect getaway. Many couples enjoy sitting by the lake, whispering sweet nothings to each other or simply cuddling while soaking in the beautiful scenery. Others opt to rent a small boat and gently drift across the calm waters.

When winter arrives with its blanket of snow, Lake Titisee takes a long time to freeze because the lake surface is often kept ice-free by frequent winds during the season. In winter, the frozen sections of the lake can be opened to the public, but only when the ice reaches a minimum thickness of 16 centimeters.
