The Epic of the Rubber Plantation
The rubber plantation is situated on both sides of the road 5 kilometers down from the eastern route of the Bawangling Forestry Bureau highway and on both sides of the road 7 kilometers down from the central route of the Bawangling Forestry Bureau highway, covering an area of 130 hectares. The trees are about 12 years old and represent an outstanding achievement of the Bawangling Forestry Bureau’s second venture, embodying the pioneering spirit of the forestry workers. When night falls and all is quiet, the plantation glimmers with scattered lights as rubber tappers begin their harvest.
