Located about 300 meters north of the 5-kilometer mark on the Donggan Line, in the area of the Qichaling mountain ridge, it lies approximately 7 kilometers from the Bawangling Forestry Bureau. Covering an area of 50 hectares, the forest contains 2,800 trees with an average height of 20 meters and an average diameter at breast height of 22 centimeters. It is a pure wild lychee forest—rare in China and the largest of its kind in Hainan Province. Among the groves, there is a “Lychee King” tree with a diameter at breast height of 7.5 meters, a height of 32 meters, and an estimated age of over 1,000 years. Such an ancient lychee tree has never been found anywhere else in the world.
