Located in Qingyan Shuangquan Village, Maoba Township, Lichuan City. Buqing Bridge was constructed in the first year of the Guangxu reign (1875), spanning a tributary of the Taiping River from north to south. It is a single-arch stone bridge, 21.4 meters long, 4 meters wide, with an arch span of 7.2 meters and a longitudinally bonded masonry arch. The Character Storage Pagoda stands north of the bridge. It is a hollow, hexagonal three-story pavilion-style stone pagoda, standing 5.7 meters tall in total. The second floor has a window on the western wall, with the inscription “Buqing Bridge” above it. The third floor features an inscribed plaque in regular script reading “Character Storage” on the western wall. To the south of Buqing Bridge lies the family cemetery of Liu Yucheng, a Guozijian scholar who funded the bridge's construction, along with his relatives. Both the Buqing Bridge and the Character Storage Pagoda are significant cultural landmarks along the eastern salt transport route from Sichuan, offering considerable value for the study of the history of salt transport and transportation between Sichuan and Hubei.
