Accra International Conference Centre

　　The Accra International Conference Centre is situated in Accra, the capital of Ghana. Owing to its large size, it is one of the most renowned event venues in the country. The main conference hall can accommodate 1,600 people, making it Ghana’s most important meeting venue where world leaders frequently gather to hold significant international conferences.

　　The photo exhibition commemorating the 50th anniversary of China-Ghana diplomatic relations was opened at the Accra International Conference Centre. In July 2009, then U.S. President Barack Obama attended a conference in the venue and delivered a speech. Several notable buildings are located near the centre, including the Ghanaian Parliament House, the Accra Sports Stadium, and the iconic Black Star Square.
