  Xinqiu Cuo was built in the late Ming Dynasty as a single-story house with three halls and two side wings. Originally the residence of Wang Mingxuan, Vice Minister of the Ministry of Punishments in the late Ming Dynasty, it was renovated in the 14th year of the Guangxu reign during the Qing Dynasty. In December 1975, it was designated as a provincial-level cultural relic protection unit. The main building is arranged along a central axis and consists of a gray-paved courtyard, main gate, patio, main hall, and rear hall in sequence. The main hall is three bays wide and six meters deep, featuring a post-and-lintel timber frame. After the victory of the third battle for Longyan City in June 1929, Comrade Mao Zedong and his wife He Zizhen stayed here, leaving in mid-July.
