The New Zealand Tree House Restaurant is also known as the "Sequoia Tree House Restaurant" or the "Tree Lantern Restaurant." It’s located on a massive 40-meter-tall, 1.7-meter-diameter redwood tree deep in the forests of Auckland. The entire restaurant is designed with a yellow color scheme. Its appearance resembles either a chrysalis about to emerge from a tree or an onion hanging out to dry in a fairy-tale forest. At night, the carefully designed lighting makes the restaurant glow delicately, much like a Chinese lantern, guiding and illuminating the way for night travelers—it’s truly stunning. Suspended 10 meters above the ground, the tree house stands 12 meters tall and 10 meters in diameter, featuring a long hanging walkway. It was completed in 2009 after 66 days of construction. Its grid-like structure ensures excellent ventilation and lighting, and its nighttime scenery is particularly beautiful.
Due to its unique design, the New Zealand Tree House Restaurant has captured widespread attention and attracted visitors from around the world who wish to dine and enjoy the scenery in this extraordinary setting.
