Sidi Bel Abbès
Sidi Bel Abbès is situated in northern Algeria and serves as the capital of Sidi Bel Abbès Province, functioning as a key commercial center. The city is the birthplace of many prominent individuals, including René Viviani, former Prime Minister of France; mathematician Gaston Julia; boxer Marcel Cerdan; and Algerian Foreign Minister Mohamed Bedjaoui.

Established in 1843, Sidi Bel Abbès was originally a French military outpost and was once surrounded by city walls, which no longer exist. The city boasts vast vineyards, with expansive grape-growing landscapes that are particularly captivating. Additionally, its fruitful orchards and lush vegetable gardens are also well worth visiting.
