Within the Chinese Ethnic Culture Village, more than twenty types of ethnic dwellings—including bamboo houses, boat-shaped houses, log cabins, three-room houses with a screen wall, earthen-floor houses, yurts, and courtyard homes—are built to their original scale. Over a hundred scenic spots such as drum towers, wind-and-rain bridges, pagodas, solar calendar pillars, and the Great Wall are cleverly arranged amidst the villages and settlements, blending harmoniously with the natural landscape.
The Chinese Ethnic Culture Village not only features ethnic song and dance performances such as the Bamboo Pole Dance, King's Whip Dance, Peacock Dance, Mohe Dance, Guozhuang Dance, and Ordos Dance, performed by artists from across the country, but also offers traditional instrumental music using instruments like the Dingdong, Mongolian gong, elephant-foot drum, lusheng, dombra, wooden drum, and sanxian. Additionally, lively festival celebrations such as the Water-Splashing Festival, Third Month Fair, and Torch Festival are held.
