Xuanhan Mia'an Huaguoshan Scenic Area

The Mia'an Huaguoshan Scenic Area is situated in Mia'an Township, Xuanhan County. It lies 23 kilometers from the county seat of Xuanhan and 21 kilometers from downtown Dazhou, neighboring the Yanglie Water Town Scenic Area. This is a rural eco-tourism and leisure resort destination in our city for "spring sightseeing, summer melon tasting, autumn fruit picking, and winter snow appreciation." The scenic area sits at an altitude of 350 to 890 meters, with an average annual temperature of 13.8°C, offering a pleasant climate. It features a 10,000-mu crisp plum demonstration garden, a red-flesh kiwi base, a hart's tongue fern base, and the Mia'an watermelon geographical production area. Supporting tourism infrastructure has also been established, including a self-drive campsite, rural hotels, and cycling trails. The people of Mia'an are known for their simple and honest folkways and rich cultural heritage. Historically, there were eight temples here, and ancient tombs, old trees, and ancient villages are scattered throughout the region, along with well-preserved Qing Dynasty architecture arranged in an orderly fashion.
