The mountains, canyons, lakes, and beaches in Cape Range National Park were formed by changes in sea levels in the region. Continuous erosion by wind and water has resulted in numerous limestone formations. The park is home to over 700 caves, more than 630 species of wildflowers, as well as a diverse range of animals and birds — approximately 100 species of melodious, vibrant birds and over 80 species of reptiles. Visitors can camp where the majestic canyons, carved by ancient rivers, meet the coral reefs, crystal-clear blue waters, and sandy shores of Ningaloo. They can wander through dense forests to admire delicate wildflowers, discover rare plants, and spot small woodland creatures. You can even relax on silvery-white beaches, soaking in the ocean views and sunshine. For the more adventurous, driving a four-wheel-drive vehicle or quad bike offers the chance to further explore the expansive coastline.
Cape Range National Park is full of surprises and thrills at every turn — don’t miss any opportunity to experience its excitement and adventure, and immerse yourself in its breathtaking scenery and natural beauty.
