Sahara
Most Popular Sahara: When it comes to the hottest spot in Morocco, there's no doubt that the world-renowned Sahara Desert takes the crown. In fact, the Sahara is vast and expansive, spanning several countries across Africa, and setting foot in the world’s largest and most famous desert is truly a dream for many. Among the transnational expanse of the Sahara, the portion located within Morocco is especially famous—because while deserts in other countries are mostly just stretches of yellow earth, Morocco is uniquely blessed with strikingly red-hued sands. Being in the desert, where the red dust fills the air, gives off an especially intense and fiery feeling. Although venturing into such a vast and scorching desert is far from easy or comfortable, people are still drawn to experience it, precisely because this immense and mysterious desert holds an irresistible allure. Whether it’s riding a camel into the desert at night to gaze at the starry sky or waiting quietly in the boundless sands for daybreak, the scenery is as stunning as a painting and simply breathtaking.
