Bells Beach features rugged yet stunning terrain and relatively flat waves, yet it is one of Australia’s most famous surfing spots. Since 1962, the Easter Surfing Carnival has been held here every year, adding to the beach’s surfing allure. Each year, the Easter Surfing Carnival gathers surfing elites from around the world to showcase their skills to the fullest. When visitors ride the waves at Bells and stand atop the crest, playfully challenging the surf, they also begin to challenge themselves.
Due to its breathtaking beauty, Bells Beach has also served as a filming location for famous Hollywood movies. In the 1960s, American films such as *Point Break* and *Guns of the Magnificent Seven* were shot on this beach.
