Friouato Cave

　　Friouato Cave is situated to the south of Taza, approximately 30 kilometers from the city. The currently explored depth of the cave is 272 meters, but its actual depth remains a mystery. It is the largest natural cave system in North Africa and was first discovered in 1930. Scientists have predicted that there is an underground river inside, and nearby villagers say that many scientists have ventured into the cave to explore, but most have never emerged again.

　　Friouato Cave is now becoming increasingly well-known, and many people are eager to explore its depths. The path leading into the cave is very steep but has been coated with tar to prevent slipping. Visitors need to bring their own flashlights, as the cave is extremely dark. Entering the cave requires a professional guide, and warm jackets are necessary due to the significant depth and cool temperatures inside.
