The area boasts picturesque scenery, encircled by mountains, covering a total lake area of 21 square kilometers, including 9 square kilometers of water surface, with a water storage capacity of 120 million cubic meters. The crystal-clear blue waters are set against lush green hills. The lake area features 108 scattered islands, earning it the name “East Lake Star Islands.” These clustered small islands resemble 108 emeralds on a silver platter, adorned with mangoes, lychees, longans, slash pines, and peach blossoms. In spring, the area resembles a paradise on earth, dazzling and extraordinary. East Lake also has an ancient camphor tree king, weighing 58 tons, with a diameter of 4.3 meters and a length of 26 meters, unearthed from the Nalong River. It is estimated to be around 5,000 years old...
