Located in Zhongshan Village, Zhongshan Town, Zhongxiang City. Built in the first year of the Xuantong reign of the Qing Dynasty (1909), it is a stone memorial archway with four pillars, three bays, and five stories, imitating wooden architecture. It stands 8.76 meters tall, 6 meters wide, and 2.8 meters deep. The side bays feature “eight-character gates” on their front and rear walls, with drum-shaped stones, stone lions, and stone elephants at the base of the pillars. The upper lintel of the central bay is inscribed with “Imperial Recognition,” while the lower lintel records achievements, the names of the builders, and the construction date. The lintels are adorned with bas-reliefs of flowers, birds, and human figures. This archway boasts exquisite carving craftsmanship, with vivid animal reliefs, making it an important reference for studying the customs and folkways of the late Qing Dynasty as well as the art of stone carving.
