Taian Waterfall

　　  Taian Waterfall is situated in the Caulan Mountain area south of Qidu and is also called the Caulan Mountain Waterfall. In the past, limited transportation helped preserve its rustic and unspoiled landscape, offering beautiful and serene scenery. The site features well-planned barbecue areas, camping zones, a water play area, and mountain-looping trails, making it a popular destination for camping and outdoor outings. Upon entering from the waterfall's entrance, visitors can choose between two tree-lined paths. The left path runs alongside the creek and retains a somewhat untouched jungle ambiance, leading to the camping and barbecue areas. The camping zone, having seen little use, now appears overgrown. Alternatively, taking the right path from the entrance leads uphill to Taian Waterfall. The waterfall is approximately 20 meters high, cascading down the mountainside and pooling into a clear, tranquil basin. Visitors can enjoy playing in the water here, often spotting lovely water birds perched on the rocks near the falls. By following the mountain-looping trail beside the waterfall around Caulan Mountain, one can also enjoy a healthy forest bathing experience, immersing in the fresh air surrounded by lush woods and bamboo – truly an ideal retreat from the hustle and bustle of daily life.
