Longnan Xiaowudang Mountain

　　The majestic Longnan Xiaowudang Mountain is located in Shixia Village, Wudang Township, about 50 kilometers south of Longnan County at the border between Guangdong and Jiangxi provinces. The main peak stands at an elevation of 813 meters, with the highest peak reaching 864 meters. Ninety-nine peaks rise abruptly from the ground, standing in a row like upright halberds, with bizarre rocks jutting out and steep mountain paths.

　　The most thrilling section of the mountain path is the “Iron Chain Cloud Ladder,” which is nearly vertical at an 80-degree angle.

　　Longnan Xiaowudang Mountain is situated south of Longnan County, covering an area of 13.5 square kilometers. The main peak has an elevation of 813 meters, and there are 99 peaks that stretch continuously and stand like upright halberds. Bizarre and uniquely shaped rocks are found everywhere, including two peaks standing side by side like sisters embracing each other — the Sister Rocks — which are especially picturesque.

　　Transportation: Take a long-distance bus to Longnan along National Highway 105 and get off at the foot of Xiaowudang Mountain.
