Shougang Industrial Tourism Area

　　    A national industrial tourism demonstration site. Located in the Shougang Industrial Park in the Shijingshan District at the western end of Beijing’s Chang’an Avenue. Approximately 20 kilometers from the city center of Beijing. It is a comprehensive tourist destination integrating science education, patriotic education, academic exchange, and cultural leisure. Since it began receiving visitors in 2000, it has been highly praised by people from all walks of life both domestically and abroad. Currently, it receives over 50,000 visitors annually, demonstrating strong social and economic benefits with good prospects for sustainable development.

　　    Shougang Industrial Tourism is a distinctive emerging industry developed around the industrial production activities of the Shougang Group and is moving toward industrialization. Centered around the theme “This is How Steel Is Made” and following the steel production process as its main thread, the tour offers visitors an immersive experience of the spectacular scenes of steel manufacturing and the landscape of a modern large-scale industrial enterprise. The visit also includes highlights of Shougang's cultural landmarks, corporate culture, and historical sites. The dynamic scenes of steel production are organically integrated with the landscaped beauty of lakes and hills, creating harmony between humans and nature.
