Highland Yellow Cattle
Highland Yellow Cattle are raised in Gaoping Township at an altitude of 870 meters. Developed through long-term closed natural breeding by villagers under high, dry terrain with abundant sunlight and unique alpine climatic conditions, they boast distinctive flavors and strong disease resistance. Their feed mainly consists of grazing on highland meadows supplemented with agricultural by-products.
Yellow beef helps nourish qi and blood as well as strengthen tendons and bones, and its efficacy varies when paired with different ingredients. Beef with tomatoes is one of the best foods for enriching blood, beautifying the skin, and improving complexion. Beef with venison offers the best kidney-nourishing effects, making it highly suitable for people who overuse their brains. Eating beef alone or with prepared rehmannia, goji berries, and mulberries can help improve hair loss caused by kidney deficiency. When combined with astragalus, it enhances qi-tonifying effects. Paired with yam, it strengthens bones. Combined with gastrodia, it helps lower blood pressure, and with cordyceps, it boosts immunity.
Beef tendon is also a rare delicacy. It strengthens tendons and bones, making it especially suitable for the elderly with back and leg pain or patients recovering from fractures. Stewing it with eucommia bark provides excellent dietary therapy benefits for numbness in hands and feet as well as back and leg pain.
