Dagang Winter Jujube
Dagang Winter Jujube is a product with a geographical indication for agricultural products.
Dagang Winter Jujube is an elite variety cultivated and selected by agricultural technicians based on the local Cuizhuang Winter Jujube. It features a glossy, dark reddish skin with vibrant color, thin skin, crisp flesh, and excellent taste—large-sized with small pits, crispy, juicy, and pleasantly sweet and sour. The quality is outstanding, with an average fruit weight of 20 grams, surpassing most fresh fruits in key indicators, and has been hailed as the “King of Fruits” by many experts both at home and abroad.
After more than a decade of planned development, Dagang in Tianjin Binhai New Area has become an important winter jujube production base in northern China. Eight premium winter jujube gardens, five winter jujube sightseeing gardens, 30,000 mu of pollution-free production demonstration gardens, winter jujube beverages, and winter jujube stations have become the agricultural calling cards of the Dagang region, forming an integrated industrial model covering production, transportation, processing, and sales.
