Bamboo Wares of Nanshan
Bamboo is a plant native to the south, and bamboo wares are mostly only suitable for use in the humid southern regions. In the dry north, they tend to crack and fall apart. At Tianmuhu Fishing Village, everything—from the chopsticks used for eating, baskets for grocery shopping, to a full range of kitchen utensils, tables, chairs, stools, bamboo poles for drying clothes, bamboo boxes and baskets for travel, and even brooms for sweeping—is made of bamboo.
