Yilan Soybeans
Yilan County is a major agricultural hub and serves as a national commodity grain base and a designated soybean production county.
The region boasts abundant and high-quality soybean resources, with planting areas consistently exceeding one million mu annually and average yields ranging from 145 to 160 kilograms per mu. In terms of cultivation techniques, the "three-row ridge" soybean farming method is fully applied, and the approach includes formula fertilization and integrated pest, disease, and weed management. The widespread adoption of these advanced techniques has created optimal conditions for high and stable soybean yields in Yilan County. Additionally, the county has established three million mu of green food-certified soybean planting bases and holds the certified label “Green Emperor” for its soybeans. Yilan soybeans enjoy a strong reputation both within and beyond the province.
