New Zealand wholly-owned Heilongjiang Xinhe King Dairy Co., Ltd. is a foreign-funded enterprise solely invested by New Zealand Hongyang Group. The Hongyang Group is a diversified investment group engaged in real estate, livestock farming (ranches), leather processing, international trade, dairy R&D, and more. At the end of 2003, it invested in and acquired the former Wudalianchi Hei King Dairy Group, entering the Chinese dairy manufacturing industry.

The Hei King brand was once among China’s top ten dairy brands. The Hei King trademark was awarded the title of “Famous Trademark of Heilongjiang Province.” It was the only dairy enterprise in Heilongjiang Province that exported its products, which were sold to Southeast Asia and the Middle East, earning a good reputation both domestically and internationally. Its production base is located in Wudalianchi City, which has just been designated as a “UNESCO Global Geopark.” The area boasts beautiful scenery, fresh air, and is free from industrial pollution. It features lush water and grass rich in minerals, making it one of the world’s three famous sources of cold mineral springs. The region is also situated at 48 degrees north latitude, an ideal breeding ground for high-yield black-and-white dairy cows. The fresh milk produced by cows raised in this area is not only pollution-free but also rich in natural mineral elements. It is China’s only production base for “mineral spring milk.”
