The main planting area of Longshenghe Selenium-Rich Millet is located in Shuang’an Village, Beian Township, five kilometers east of National Highway 202. The base covers an area of 4,500 square meters, with production facilities spanning 1,260 square meters, and the surrounding planting area extends across 50,000 mu. Millet has been cultivated here for nearly a hundred years, using farmyard manure and plant-based materials as base fertilizers at sowing. This year, the production is expected to yield 1 million jin (approximately 500 metric tons) of pollution-free millet. This type of millet is characterized by its large grains, yellow germ, fragrant and delicious taste when cooked, warming and spleen-strengthening effects, unique mouthfeel, and rich nutrition. Its key nutritional components include 12.4% protein, 0.28% lysine, 4.17% fat, and a selenium content of 0.049 PPM, making it an excellent choice for healthy cuisine in modern times. The “Longshenghe” brand cornmeal and corn grits are made from corn grown strictly according to the production techniques of pollution-free food. The base spans 50,000 mu, using superior varieties such as Sidan 19, applying more organic fertilizer and less chemical fertilizer, and avoiding highly toxic or high-residue pesticides. Advanced processing equipment and procedures are employed during production, ensuring delicious, high-quality, and safe products.
