Nancha Black Fungus
Black fungus is highly nutritious, containing rich proteins and mineral elements that surpass those found in rice, flour, and vegetables. Its vitamin B2 content is 10 times that of rice, flour, and Chinese cabbage, and 3–5 times higher than that of pork, mutton, and beef. Its ash content is 4–5 times higher than that of rice, flour, Chinese cabbage, and meat. Its colloidal substance has strong adsorption capabilities, helping to cleanse the lungs and aid in the digestion of cellulose.
Therefore, it is not only an essential ingredient for cooking high-end dishes but also an indispensable health food for textile workers.
Nancha District has vigorously developed bag-cultivated black fungus farming. The industry has grown rapidly, with production scale expanding year by year. The output of bag-cultivated black fungus has increased from 20 million bags in 2003, to 26 million bags in 2004, and to 30 million bags this year.
