　　The marble mineral resources are a primary raw material for cement production. The marble deposit, located 16 kilometers east of Xinlin Town in the Xinlin District, measures 780 meters in length and 300 meters in width, with reserves of 9.92 million tons. The deposit consists of three ore bodies, among which Ore Body No. 2 is the main one. The ore is white to off-white in color, with a calcium oxide content of over 51%, magnesium oxide at 0.53%, an average silicon dioxide content of 3.24%, aluminum oxide at 1.54%, iron oxide at 0.73%, and an average potassium and sodium content of 0.37%. It can be used for cement production, and the ore bodies are shallowly buried, allowing for open-pit mining.
