　　Huzhong Larch Pine Seeds are a specialty of Huzhong District in the Greater Khingan Mountains of Heilongjiang Province.

　　Huzhong Larch Pine Seeds are a 100% natural, pollution-free green food, known as “Thousand-Day Fruit” and “the celestial fruit among fruits.” They have gained increasing popularity among consumers in recent years due to their rich nutrition, aromatic taste, and unique health benefits. Huzhong District is known as the “Home of Larch Pine,” with larch pine resources covering 73,352 hectares and an annual average collection of about 2,600 tons of larch pine seeds. The district currently has five larch pine seed processing enterprises, with an annual output value of 160 million yuan. A total of nearly 20 varieties of larch pine seed products have been developed across five series, including larch pine kernel powder, larch pine dew beverage, larch pine seed oil, and pine kernel candies. These products are sold in cities such as Beijing, Shanghai, Hangzhou, Guangzhou, and Xi'an, and are also exported to South Korea, Japan, Taiwan, and Southeast Asia. The approval of Huzhong Larch Pine Seeds as a national geographical indication product will help guide the local larch pine industry toward a healthy path of branding, standardization, and protection. This will further enhance the brand impact of Huzhong’s larch pine products, increase product added value, boost income for forestry workers, and promote the sustainable development and utilization of larch pine resources.

　　The administrative region under the jurisdiction of Huzhong District, Daxing’anling Region, Heilongjiang Province (geographical coordinates: 122°39′–124°20′ east longitude, 51°14′40″–52°25′00″ north latitude). The protected area covers the entire Huzhong District and its national nature reserve, with a total area of 931,244 hectares.
