　　With fertile soil, abundant water, and vast fertile fields, relying on the unique advantage of the rich water resources of the Songhua River, the region produces 400,000 tons of high-quality rice annually, providing ample raw material sources for large-scale development of the agricultural product processing industry.

　　Songhua River Rice is a specialty of Changchun. Located in the Songhua River basin in the central part of the Songliao Plain, Changchun has fertile soil and abundant rainfall, making it an ideal area for producing high-quality rice. Songhua River Rice is renowned nationwide. The city should leverage this unique resource advantage to strengthen and expand its rice industry, boost economic development, and establish the rice industry as a signature product of Changchun. The city has 114,000 hectares of rice fields, yielding 1.286 million tons of rice annually. There are eleven large-scale rice processing enterprises, producing nearly 800,000 tons of rice per year. In recent years, due to the increase in rice processing companies, various rice brands have flooded the market, resulting in inconsistent product quality. This fragmented approach has significantly weakened the brand impact of the city’s rice, reducing its competitiveness in both domestic and international markets. To accelerate the further development of Changchun’s rice industry, efforts are being made to enhance and expand the “Songhua River” rice brand by leveraging the established brand recognition of the “Songhua River” brand in the region.
