Matsutake mushrooms from Changbai Mountain
Matsutake mushrooms, also known as pine mushrooms, are a type of edible fungus in the family Tricholomataceae. Primarily used for culinary purposes, they also have medicinal benefits, such as strengthening the body, relieving pain, benefiting the stomach and intestines, and regulating qi to dissolve phlegm. Jilin’s Changbai Mountain is a major production area for matsutake mushrooms.
