Braised Liaodong Sea Cucumber in Soy Sauce
Braised Liaodong Sea Cucumber in Soy Sauce is a home-style dish with crispy, fragrant meat and rich nutrition.
Main ingredient: 150g Liaodong sea cucumber from Guandong
Side ingredients: 20g winter bamboo shoots, 15g minced meat, 10g sprouted mustard greens, 100g baby bok choy, plus ginger, scallions, garlic, and MSG as needed
Cooking method
Step one: Take out the Liaodong sea cucumber, place it in a container with clean water to soak. Once the sea cucumber’s flesh becomes soft and tender, cut it into tile-shaped pieces with a knife. Then put it in a pot, add broth, and simmer over heat until well-cooked.
Step two: Wash the baby bok choy, blanch it in boiling water, and arrange it around the edge of the serving plate.
Step three: Heat oil in a pan. When the oil reaches about 40% heat, add the winter bamboo shoots and stir-fry. Then add the minced meat and sprouted mustard greens, along with ginger, scallions, garlic, MSG, and other seasonings, and stir-fry together. Once the aroma comes out, add the simmered sea cucumber, drizzle with sesame oil and prickly ash oil, then remove from heat and serve on a plate.
