SuiZhong Smashed Cucumber
Ingredients: 4g mashed garlic, 3g sesame oil, 10g vinegar, 5g soy sauce, 1g salt, 0.2g MSG.
Method: Wash the cucumber, trim the end, smash it with a knife until cracked, then cut it horizontally into chunks. Place in a dish. Wash the wood ear mushrooms, blanch them in boiling water until cooked, drain and place on top of the cucumber. Sprinkle the seasonings over the mushrooms, mix well before eating.
Note: In addition to being low in calories, cucumbers help eliminate dampness, promote urination, clear heat, and detoxify. The dietary fiber in cucumbers aids in the excretion of toxins and helps lower cholesterol. The unique succinic acid in fresh cucumbers inhibits the conversion of sugar to fat, contributing to weight loss.
