　　Liaoning inkstones, produced in Benxi, Liaoning Province, were regarded as premium writing stones over 100 years ago and gained fame across the Northeast as tribute items for the imperial court during the Qing Dynasty. Liaoning inkstones, also known as Qiaotou Stone Inkstones, are carved from the distinctive bluish-purple cloud stone mined near Qiaotou Town in Benxi. The varieties of Liaoning inkstones continue to evolve, and their craftsmanship has become increasingly refined and perfected.
