Tieling Scallions

　　　Tieling scallions, produced in Tieling County, Liaoning Province, are renowned both domestically and internationally for their single-stalk growth, long white bulbs, and delicious taste, making them one of Liaoning’s famous vegetable products. The cultivation of Tieling scallions dates back over a hundred years. These scallions are rich in various nutrients such as vitamins, proteins, and fats, and contain a significant amount of volatile essential oils known as allicin, which gives them an exceptionally spicy and fragrant flavor with strong antibacterial properties.
