The Fuwei Mountain Villa Southern Pear Special Brew Distillery is located in Fangmashan, the green base for southern Liaoning fruit in Yong’an Town, Dashiqiao City — part of the Qianshan Mountain range. With distinct seasons, lush forests, blooming flowers, murmuring streams, and pleasant scenery, Fuwei Mountain Villa was established in April 1999, covering an area of 210 acres with 20,000 southern pear trees planted, yielding 500 tons of high-quality southern pears annually. Its unmatched natural landscape provides ideal conditions for brewing the Southern Pear Special Brew.
The Southern Pear Special Brew is primarily made from southern pears — a specialty of southern Liaoning — and high-quality rice as a supplementary ingredient, through scientific formulation, anhydrous ingredients, cellar yeast fermentation, and traditional distillation. The southern pear is known as the “king of pears,” with vibrant color, balanced sweetness and acidity, fragrant aroma, soft texture, long-lasting aftertaste, and rich nutrition. The selected rice is the Shuǐyuán (Water Source) rice, a specialty of Dashiqiao City. The sweet and pure grain benefits from the milky-rich Liao River water and slightly alkaline soil, earning it the reputation of the “king of rice.”
