Grass carp
It is one of the four major cultured fish species in China and is distributed throughout the country. It can be used as a companion species in lakes, reservoirs, and ponds, with an average yield of about 50 kilograms per mu; when raised as the main species in ponds and fed with complete compound feed, the yield can reach around 700 kilograms per mu.
