Based on craftsmanship techniques, it is divided into four main types: "Chuchu," thread-coiled, three-dimensional embroidery, and flat embroidery. "Chuchu," also known as hidden-stitch embroidery, is characterized by hiding the stitches, aiming to create expressive shapes and capture both form and spirit while keeping the stitches invisible—the highest achievement of the craft. The production process includes conceptualization, material selection, cutting, and shaping. The locally renowned Qingyang Perfume Pouch, also called "Chuchu," is a traditional folk item from Qingyang. Based on paper-cut patterns, colorful threads are used to embroider various designs on silk fabrics, which are then sewn into different shapes.
