　　   The production of edible fungi is an emerging green and pollution-free industry that was introduced after an investigation trip to Xixia, Henan in 2001, successfully trial-planted, and then promoted throughout the county in 2002. In recent years, with strong support from provincial and municipal financial and agricultural development departments, the Xilong Edible Fungi Development Company was established. The company hired one edible fungi engineer from Xixia, Henan, and one technician from the Edible Fungi Research Institute of Yangling Agricultural College, trained 26 technical backbone staff, purchased equipment for crushing, sterilizing, drying, and inoculation, and adopted a "company + farmer" development model. This includes contract farming, order-based production, guaranteed purchase and sales, demonstration-led expansion, and steady growth, which has enabled the edible fungi industry to take initial shape.
