Yichuan Oil Cake
Also known as New Year cake or date cake, the oil cake is made from glutinous millet and Chinese dates, then deep-fried in plant oil. It has a delicate fragrance, sweet taste, and a soft texture. It tastes excellent when served with white sugar and flour soup. The oil cake is golden yellow, soft and tender, and retains its color and quality over time. It is a natural green food.
